Let me tell you this right now–this isn’t your typical resume. I’m just
going to ramble on about all the random gigs I’ve done in the past
and leave you the pleasure of deciding whether or not I’m badass
enough to be on your team.
I’ve done the “online thing” and served as a Community Officer
for an online gaming community. I had to spend hours a day in front of
the computer maintaining the forums, which meant I got paid to sit and
chat with gamer boys and get them interested in joining the tournament.
Other less interesting (but equally important) tasks I had to accomplish
include files upkeep, public relations as well as writing online content
and updates for the website.
April – Sept 2004, April 2005 – Nov 2005, June 2006 – Aug 2006,
WORLD CYBER GAMES PHILIPPINES
(PROJECT HELD BY SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS, INC.)
I’ve done the “call center thing” and functioned as an Email
Support Representative for a company handling Sprint clients.
Basically, I signed up again to spend all day in front of the computer
running automated processes for phone line suspension and
disconnection as well as notice writing.
Feb 2005 – Oct 2005, INTELLIRISK PHILIPPINES
While in college [for the second time], I spent my entire stay involved in
the “college paper thing”, first as Literary Staffer, then as
Features Editor. Part of being head honcho of the Features Section
was having the opportunity to be Editor of BLIP Magazine, the college’s
features folio that came out once every school year.
After a successful term as section editor, I was promoted to Associate
Editor. One of my responsibilites was to oversee all written content for
various sections in the newspaper and special publications as
second-in-command. This is where I developed my skills in writing,
editing as well as layout conceptualization and design.
May 2007 – 2008 and Oct 2008 – Jan 2008 (Features),
Aug 2007 - May 2009 (Associate),

After graduation, I worked for a while as a Managing Editor for a
US company that sells heated clothing and other related products. I
edited and cleared written content for online publishing on all of the
company’s websites. I also wrote for promotional materials.

WHAT I’M UP TO THESE DAYS
I’ve recently discovered the joy of being in control of my
own time, working when I want, playing when I want. It
may be scary and unstable for some to be a member
of the freelancing nation, but I happen to find it
rather fun and liberating.
To give back to my doting parents for putting me through
two college courses with only minor complaints, I
conceptualize, design and create marketing
collaterals for their many business ventures. Flyers,
posters, CD covers, book covers, product labels,
packages, logos–you name it, I’ve done it!
I do the same for others–depending on the project, time
and resources available–for a fee, of course.
I am also getting into the business of web design and
development with my programmer boyfriend, Jason
Kotenko. under astignet.com. We have various
packages available that include starting your website
from scratch, revamping your already existing homepage,
changing platforms, and even conceptualizing actual
content for bare pages, written or otherwise.
